Where you are
A pro-style cornhole night in an indoor arena. The lane is a lit stage under a lighting truss, a full house of 2,550 fans fills the stands on three sides, and two commentators sit at a desk beside the stage. Moving lights sweep beams through the haze.
What happens here
- The house lights drop for every throw and come back up when the bag comes to rest: the hush before every throw.
- The crowd has a favourite: a cornhole of theirs gets the whole house on its feet, arms up, starting from the front rows.
- Land one of theirs in the dirt and a heckler gets shouted down.
- Nobody in the stands is ever quite still: they sway, look round, clap and sip their drinks.
