Where you are
Holy Crap Farm, a small family farm at harvest on a bright autumn afternoon. The lane runs down the farmyard track, with the barn, a wind pump, a scarecrow and the gold corn behind, and the yard’s muck heap right behind the board.
What happens here
- Throw long and the bag drops into the muck heap with a splash, and the pigs trot over to root where it went in.
- A cornhole pops a dazed gopher out of its mound beside the board, stars circling its head.
- A woody gets the goat beside the board hopping twice where it stands.
- A bag in the dirt short of the heap gets mobbed by the hens, who peck at it as if it were feed.
- Between throws the pigs romp and wallow on the heap, the hens peck and the pump turns.
